- Use a clean cloth to absorb any moisture prior to cleaning.
- Use the eraser to remove any scuffs or marks from the surface of the shoe. Rub the eraser gently over the affected area until the mark disappears. Be sure to use a gentle touch, as too much pressure can damage the delicate nap of the material.
- Once you have removed any scuffs or marks, use the soft part of the bristled brush to gently brush the surface of the shoe in one direction. This will help to restore the nap of the material and ensure that the shoe looks clean and refreshed.
- Use a crepe brush to gently lift dirt and stains from the nap of the material. Use light pressure and work in small sections, using back-and-forth motions to loosen and lift dirt and grime. As you use the crepe brush, you may notice that small pieces of rubber start to accumulate on the surface of the shoe. This is normal and indicates that the brush is doing its job by lifting dirt and grime from the nap of the material. The crepe material may absorb the color of articles cleaned after a few uses, however the color should not transfer with use.
