DESCRIPTION

Our Grounding Tester is an electrical testing device used to ensure the continuity and integrity of a grounding system. This tool is essential in verifying that the electrical grounding, is continuous and has a low-resistance path to earth - if the bulb lights green it means you're grounded.

FEATURES

  • 1 - Grounding continuity tester
  • 1 - 15 foot grounding cord
  • 2- AAA batteries required and are not included with purchase

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Plug the rounded button end of the grounding cord onto the continuity tester and plug the pin end into the grounding prong of a grounded outlet or the actual ground.
  • Slide the green on/off button to the “On” position.
  • Place one finger on the metal disc at the back side of the meter and hold it there the entire time.
  • Step onto the grounding surface (earth, grass, concrete sidewalk, etc.) - If the light turns green as you step onto the grounding surface then that means that you are grounded and there is continuity.

HOW TO TEST FOR GROUNDING - STEP 1

You've just bought yourself a pair of Groundz shoes and are eager to experience all their benefits. However, you're wondering if the grounding process is really working. Our grounding tester can help you with that! To get started, slide the green switch from off to on. Once the green light flashes, the tester is active. (Don't forget to put batteries into the tester).

HOW TO TEST FOR GROUNDING - STEP 2

To test the grounding, plug the button end of the tester into the device and the pin end into the ground or the grounding prong of a grounded outlet (make sure the outlet is grounded properly - you can do this with an outlet tester).

You're ready to test - STEP 3

Step onto grounding surface (earth, grass, grounding mat, concrete sidewalk, etc.) - If the light turns green as you step onto the grounding surface then that means that you are grounded and there is continuity.
